On behalf of the Officers and Gentlemen of The First Troop Philadelphia City Cavalry, thank you for your support. The Troop is the oldest mounted unit in continuous service within the US Army.

It is with an immense sense of obligation, together with our time honored traditions of duty and honor over all else, that the Gentlemen of The First City Troop continue to serve our country today. Troopers, since 1774, have been in service, regardless of sacrifice to self, heeding the call of our commonwealth and country making the Troop an unique organization. Troopers of all ages share a bond, a brotherhood, which is indescribable for those not within our ranks.
